We salute our leaders who have founded, nursed and made it a vibrant organisation by dint of selfless devotion, hardworking and sacrifices We from UCBEA can never forget the role and contributions of Leaders of UCBEA namely Com.S.R BAl, Com.Sudhirendra Kishore Chowdhury, Com.Pannalal Guhathakurata and Com.Debabrata Chanda who have had intimate association with UCBEA and had been responsible for building a strong organisation in uco bank under the Flag of BEFI. We also gratefully remember the contributions of the under mentioned Leaders from with- in, whose tireless and selfless efforts are responsible for what we are today.

Born on 10 February 1930 and joint UCO Bank in January 1949. From the very beginning he was attached to trade union movement as well as left movement of the countryH.e was a leader of the leaders and was an icon of trade union Movement in the banking industry.He become General Secretary of UCO Bank Employees Association in 1958 and continued his leadership as general secretary or president up to 1996 he also held the post of secretary of paypy and advisor of befi and ucbea till he breathed his last on 21st January 2018. We pay respectful homemade to comrade S.R.Ball popularly known as Bal-Da.
