United commercial bank limited Employees' Association was registered under the Indian Trade Unions Act, 1962 on 13th August 1946 as a Registered Trade union No. 795 with register of trade unions, Bengal
Subsequently on 15 September 1950 the name was changed to United Commercial Bank Employees' Association.
Later on 8th September 1989 the name was changed to UCO Bank Employees' Association
UCO Bank Employees' Association on those days associated with the program and struggle Convent by the All India Bank Employees Association and Bengal provincial Bank Employees' Association
In the first part of 60's at the instance and primary role of UCO Bank Employees' Association all India united commercial bank employees Federation was formed and United commercial bank and United Commercial Bank Employees' Association associated with the Federation
The oldest but most enriched Trade union of UCO Bank started it's historic journey with the leadership of the following Braveheart who dare to organise the employees even in the pre Independence era 1.Com.
